Your Worth Isn't Up for a Vote

I'm not worth much.

My worth was decided a long time ago, and I don't get outvoted on it — and neither does anyone else.

Grades, followers, paychecks, and other people's opinions measure performance. None of them measure worth. That number was set before you got here, and it doesn't move.

Use it when: After rejection, bad grades, getting passed over, scrolling and comparing.

Backed by: D&C 18:10 — "the worth of souls is great in the sight of God." Stated as a fact, not a reward. Isaiah 43:4 — "thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee." Spoken as settled fact, not a compliment up for renewal. Psalm 139:14 — "fearfully and wonderfully made." The value was built into the design specs, not added later by a vote.
