Check Your Own Mirror Weekly

I'm nowhere near as selfish as that guy.

Everyone's got pride, including me. Good thing there's a weekly checkup.

Pride is a spectrum everybody's on; the danger isn't being on it, it's never checking your position. The sacrament schedules the self-exam weekly so it actually happens.

Use it when: Judging others, sacrament meeting autopilot, self-improvement plateaus.

Backed by: Alma 5:14 — "have ye received his image in your countenances?" Alma's questions are a standing diagnostic; the sacrament is the weekly appointment to run it.

What He’d say

Don't measure yourself against him. The question I ask is whether you can see my image in your own face. Come back every week — I'll help you run the check.

(His words from the passage above, spoken to you.)
