God Keeps His Side of Deals
Nothing I do makes any difference.
Every promise I keep locks in one of His. He's said so, in writing.
This isn't wishful thinking — it's the stated mechanics of covenants. Keep your side and His side is guaranteed by the most reliable Party in existence.
Use it when: Discouragement about tithing, callings, standards that feel unrewarded.
Backed by: D&C 82:10 — "I, the Lord, am bound when ye do what I say." God voluntarily put Himself under contract. Numbers 23:19 — "God is not a man, that he should lie... hath he said, and shall he not do it?" Hebrews 6:17–18 — God confirmed His promise "by an oath," so that "it was impossible for God to lie," giving "strong consolation" to everyone holding it.
What He’d say
I am bound when you do what I say. I put that in writing on purpose. Keep your promise, and mine is already guaranteed.
(His words from the passage above, spoken to you.)
