Your Body Is a Loaner, Treat It Like One

Exercise and health stuff are chores.

This body is issued equipment for the whole mortal mission. Maintenance is part of the mission.

You fought to get this body; it's the vehicle for everything else you'll ever do here. Sleep, food, and movement aren't vanity — they're stewardship, and every other stewardship runs better when this one's handled.

Use it when: Skipped workouts, junk-food seasons, running on 5 hours.

Backed by: 1 Corinthians 3:16–17 — "ye are the temple of God." D&C 89:20 — care for it His way and "run and not be weary."

What He’d say

You are my temple — I said so myself. Care for it my way and you'll run and not be weary. Maintenance isn't vanity; it's stewardship of the equipment I issued you for this whole mission.

(His words from the passage above, spoken to you.)
