Test It by Living It

I'd believe it if someone proved it first.

Some things can only be proven by trying them. Run the experiment.

Certain truths — forgiveness, tithing, prayer, the Book of Mormon — don't submit evidence in advance. You plant, you water, you watch what grows. The trying IS the proof, and it matures into actual knowing.

Use it when: Doubts, testimony plateaus, 'show me first' standoffs.

Backed by: Alma 32:27–34 — "experiment upon my words... the seed swelleth... your knowledge is perfect in that thing." Faith described as a lab procedure.

What He’d say

Experiment on my words — plant the seed and watch it swell. I don't submit evidence in advance; I grow it in you. Try me, and the trying will turn into knowing.

(His words from the passage above, spoken to you.)
