Sweat Is the Point
Work is what's ruining my life.
Work is what's building me. The sweat is the curriculum.
Hard work was prescribed as medicine, not punishment. Effort is the mechanism that turns soft people into capable ones — the hard Tuesday is the class doing its job.
Use it when: Dreading Monday, chores, a grinding semester or project.
Backed by: Moses 4:25 — the ground was cursed "for thy sake." For your benefit. Work was the gift hidden inside the Fall. Genesis 2:15 — God placed Adam in Eden "to dress it and to keep it" before the Fall ever happened. Work was original design, not just consequence. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 — "if any would not work, neither should he eat," Paul's blunt version of the same rule.
What He’d say
I cursed the ground for your sake — for your benefit. Work was the gift I hid inside the fall. The hard Tuesday is the class doing exactly what I built it to do.
(His words from the passage above, spoken to you.)
