Put the Best Part First

I'll get to the important stuff when everything else is done.

First fruits, not leftovers. The best slot of my day goes to the thing that matters most.

Whatever gets your first and freshest minutes is what your life is actually organized around. Give prayer and scripture the leftovers and they starve; give them the first slot and they feed everything after.

Use it when: Crowded mornings, prayer-as-afterthought, scripture streaks that die.

Backed by: The first-fruits principle runs through all of scripture: God gets the first portion, not the remainder — of harvests, of income, and of hours.

What He’d say

First fruits, not leftovers — that's the pattern I've always asked for, because whatever gets your first minutes gets your heart. Give me the first slot and watch it feed everything after.

(His words from the passage above, spoken to you.)
