This Isn't a Debt
I don't deserve for things to be this easy right now.
This isn't a debt. It's a gift, and gifts don't need to be earned to stay yours.
Guilt assumes every good thing has to be paid for eventually. Grace doesn't work that way — it was never a loan in the first place. You don't have to go looking for the hidden cost of a gift that was never billing you.
Use it when: A stretch of ease after a hard season, and the guilt that shows up right behind it.
Backed by: Ephesians 2:8–9 — "For by grace are ye saved through faith... not of works, lest any man should boast." A gift was never a loan.
What He’d say
You are saved by grace, not by anything you earned — it was a gift from the start, not a loan with the fine print hidden. Stop looking for the invoice. There isn't one.
(His words from the passage above, spoken to you.)
