He Sounds Like Himself

God feels close some days and completely absent on others — He must change with my mood.

He doesn't change. I'm just hearing Him through different weather.

A heavy day doesn't mean He turned down the volume — it means there's more noise between you and Him. The signal is the same signal it always was. Learning what He actually sounds like on the clear days is what lets you recognize Him on the loud ones.
