Comparison only measures rank, and this race doesn't have rank — it only has direction. The single question that matters: are you pointed the right way today?

Use it when: Social media, friends hitting milestones first, siblings who seem to have it easier.

Backed by: Galatians 6:4 — prove your own work, and find your satisfaction there, "and not in another." Paul called out comparison two thousand years before Instagram. Hebrews 12:1 — "let us run with patience the race that is set before us." Singular: your race, your pace, no mention of anyone else's lane.
