Small Kindnesses Are Counted

One small nice thing won't change anything.

Nothing kind is too small to count. It's all on the ledger.

You don't get to see the impact report of most kindness, and you don't need to — a text, a door held, a name remembered are all recorded by the only Auditor that matters. Do them without checking the metrics.

Use it when: Wondering if ministering matters, small-feeling service, thankless helping.

Backed by: Matthew 10:42 — even "a cup of cold water" given in the right spirit "shall in no wise lose his reward." Mosiah 2:17 — serving people IS serving God. Zechariah 4:10 — "who hath despised the day of small things?" Small isn't a category God recognizes as unworthy. D&C 64:33 — "out of small things proceedeth that which is great."
